Continued on our
drive to the natural reserve. The road was pretty good. At Bahia
Laura we were surprised to see a couple of buildings. Strange
sand/pebble bar near the beach. Tide looks well out about a 3m tide
here.

Drove around and
saw the owner at his gate/door so drove over. Had a bit of a chat.
His dogs were on long runs and the place neat and tidy and he was
clean and shaved. Seems an interesting guy.

We turned off this
road, inland onto a lesser road. Numerous farm gates to open and
close and sometimes the road little more than a track.
Finally with
only 20km to go we arrived at a locked gate.

We noticed on the
map a white road joined in 200m on the other side of the gate and when
we looked we could see a road sign. John went to investigate. The
small white road was a major road. We were not locked out - we were locked in! We undid his fence
drove through and did it up again.
On a main dirt road
for the next 100km till we got to seal and headed towards Caleta
Olivia.

Parked just south of
the town on a small cliff above a very quiet Atlantic ocean.
Sat outside on our
chairs and just took in the scene. Saw a few white patches here and
there.
Nice to hear the
ocean again..
