We
really are in the rural area of Turkey. We see animals being herded
all the time. Very rural villages we pass through with old housing
and animals right next to the house in a compound or sheds. Quite
smelly. The sheep are all dirty as they stay in the same
yard/building every night so are just on dirt and dung.
We
arrived at the Incesu Gorge and these two girls came up to tell us we
could get food and chai at their market. They then came back with a
note but I had trouble translating it. But it did introduce them.
We
had a walk up the path and invited the two girls along. One of their
dads came too. I took lots of photos of flowers and we enjoyed the
time in the sun. John was in shorts for the first time since
Australia. When we got back we had tea with two couples . couldn’t
talk much, but google helped. Finally
needed to make miles.
John
has found some very tight contours on the map with a yellow road and
tunnels so that's our destination. A slight detour off our route but
we have 5 days to get to the border.
Wonderful
colors of the crop and soil.
Health
and safety is not strictly applied here.
As
we pulled up into this unused camp site. A farmer drove past in his
tractor I waved and he stopped. I went down the bank to meet him, He
seemed OK that we were here for the night and gone tomorrow, not even
sure the place is his. But we took it as all OK
