Had a wonderful slow morning. Working on our laptops then
drove another 50km East towards Tusacan and the ferry.
Passing this old town wall.
We
stopped to buy bananas and some wonderful strawberries. Very large
and firm freshly picked, and very yummy
Filled with fuel where John got into conversation with the owner who had
good English, and who gave us a calendar.
A
beautiful day 23°c and
a lovely colored Mediterranean to drive alongside. Rugged mountains
and tunnels being built. The second half were built but we drove the
old road, to look for a camp.
Stopped
at a Carrefore and finally found some rolled oats!! 80% dark
chocolate and some red wine….
Glass houses here for veges not bananas
Found
a track down to the ocean, a fairly unused and quite steep track and camped on a nice flat spot overlooking
the Med.
Our chairs came out, the bottle opened and we had a roll-up
and glass of red for a 15:00 hr lunch!!
Sat
outside till sun got low and lost it’s heat and came inside.
