I
had had a good nights sleep. The only thing I could think of that I
had forgotten was a pair of trousers for me to wear on the plane.
John
went down to the local store and got 2 boxes then went back for two
white wines. I
packed the wine, the rest of the bag and we stashed all of our gear
at the door in case we were late back
Drove
EC and finally found Nautilus bonded storage - not the building we
thought it was and with no internet it was hard to research. Finally
found it just down the road a bit, on the other side.
Carlos
started the paper work then drove us to the port to have John sign
them in front of a customs officer. Some things were made clear to
us. It is unusual to get permission to store a vehicle in customs
when it has come through the occupied area, which is why Carlos initially asked
if we had permission to store the vehicle. All
good. The customs lady then asked if we could fly out having come in
from the occupied area we didn’t know so she mad a few phone calls
for us to find out that all was OK.
John
then parked EC in the shed and we caught a taxi back to Christina’s
place.
A
quick shower, then we were going to get some food but we decided it’d
be easier to go straight to the bus. We
arrived at the intercity bus terminal and caught the next bus, a 15min
wait, for €9
A
very quick trip to Larnaca airport so were about 5 hours before
flight.
