Left
camp around 07:00 and found the other Hoffer gas station. Lovely big
station clean and new with restaurant and nobody there…..
They
had the same problem ie. no Australian car registration, so made a phone call. We
went and had a coffee while she waited for system admin to add
Australia… That didn't happen so she was told to register us
under Slovakia and gave us a letter to give police if we were
stopped. Very friendly and helpful.
The snow brakes packed up and waiting for next winter's snows
So
now we had our gps box with a €50 deposit and €50 credit.
Running
late now, we headed up to Trnava. Luckily the webasto Service agents are on this side of the
city.
Amazon distribution centre
Finally
found D-service, by the big Webasto sign.
Danial
was great. He thought and did all his diagnostics before he plugged
in the diagnostic machine. When something didn’t gel I could see
him thinking it all through.
Danial measured the amps at the fuses and near the dual top. There was more
than 2 volt drop.
Danial
worked out that it was internal to the heater so out it came and into
parts.
He took the brain out and discovered a dry joint. This he
re-soldered a cold joint and put it back together.
John
started trying to clean some of the tape off from around the lockers
and the admin lady came out with a can of spray to clean disk brakes. This stuff cleaned gum off real good so John wen to work and removed the tape gum from EC22's arrival in Netherlands. The storage folk had been unable to not put the windows up, so taped
some plastic on. That is finally all gone.
He Daniel took the drain cover off and cleaned a bit and put two new
seals on it. That has stopped that leak.
Into
the vehicle and all good to go. €350
and we were
out the same day.
A
short drive to Sulekovo then out over a levy bank and along the track
to a nice little spot where the main river Vah and Drahovsky Kanal
join again after leaving the lake(nadrz sindava) separately .
