We drove out to a
nature reserve hoping for a walk. We have only found a few walks so far.
We came to a bridge with a 5 ton limit just before the park office, so
walked up to have a chat with the Ranger. $7000 Peso for entry and
$10000 for camping. We chose to just pay the $14 entry fee.
While having lunch
in EC a large truck with digger on board traversed the bridge, so now knowing it was safe we
drove over and up to the parking lot.
A great 3 hr walk, a
bit like Tassie, lots of ferns and moss, really quite a lovely walk.
On the drive back out towards the main road we camped on a lakes edge. Finally an opportunity for a paddle, so
out came the kayak and off we went for a small explore.
Got back from our paddle, rinsed and hung out washing and put another lot on to soak.
