EC started at -9.5°C. This time we put the fast warm button on and had the inside warmed
more quickly. Hard to wipe up all the drips from melting ice off the
insides.
The snow was not very deep and traffic was passing so headed
back to Laguna track. Very rough in places.
Stopped for lunch
and a grease. I put a loaf of bread on.
The lagunes are
fantastic with the back drops of freshly dusted mountains. Lots of flamingos but very little other life.
The road to national park and
laguna Colorado is closed. We travelled with a few land-cruisers but
chickened out when the road was all snow and hard to find.
Drove back and after a few
false tracks found a camp on dusk overlooking the same lagoon as
we tried to camp at yesterday.
