bought another 40 l fuel. Cost 700 Chilean pesos or 7 Bolivian.
We do
not have local currency yet so paid in Chilean.
Back toward the border and took the angle road to reach the Laguna track.
Found a gorgeous camp overlooking Laguna Pastos Grandes.
There were a few clouds building and at 1700hrs a few snow flakes started to fall so we headed back out to the main road for fear of a meter of snow in an unfamiliar environment.
By the time we settled for the night there was 2cm of snow on the steps.
