Drove north stopped for a late lunch by the river. Two walkers fro New York stopped by, and we gave them lunch. The couple only had a few small
bags and had been walking for 3 months in Peru. One never quite knows what one will see.
Road works for many kilometres. Had a lot of trouble finding a camp. Up a big hill
following a cop car. The works were still going. Widening the road and
putting in culvert. Lots and lots of workers equipment and trucks for
miles.
We got up into the clouds and mist and could not find a small piece of dirt to get off the road. Around 9pm through the mist we spotted a piece and claimed it as our own. A very noisy wet camp.
