Even more road works. Drove for 5 mins then were stopped for an
hour for road works. A lady and her two sons selling food to the
stopped vehicles, John had lots of visitors looking at the map of South
America. We had hoped to see the view but too much fog.
Once we got down the
hill lots of rice was being grown. At Bellavista we had lunch down
by the river and put the new tyres on front and the front on the back
and the back on as spares, then had a quick dip in the fast flowing
river.
Got EC washed on
ramps to clean off all of the mud from the road works.
Took photos of
tire sculptures beside the main road.
Turned off the main road at Picota and crossed the bridge. Found a camp spot near the end of the bridge looking back towards town. Neat seed heads.
