I
walked out of camp ahead of the vehicle - and it was very cold. Drove north on various quality
roads. At Trevelin we skirted our previous route from 9 June 2017.
Managed not to cross it but it took much longer and there were many
more intersections.
We stopped under a
bridge near a burbling stream for a quick lunch.
We took the long way to El Bolsen and went north of the town to El Maiten then crossed to the west on a narrow white road which turned out to be a well used dirt road.
About half way across 40km’s or so we turned into the bush on a track. Found a little camp right by the rivers edge.
Two dump ntrucks full of fire wood went out (glad we did not meet them coming in) otherwise a very quiet camp.

with nibbles and wine enjoying our last night of freedom for a
while...
