Arrived at the battery shop and were told that what we needed
could be got and should be here tomorrow about US$250 each. All good.
Got one of our spare tubes put into the leaky tyre. Couldn't buy
the right size tube here. Checked at the windscreen place but they
only replace not repair, and were a bit amazed that we wanted to fix
the star fracture.
Bought a few other bits at a Vea supermarket and we drove back out towards our first night's camp to the south east of city where we still had internet of sorts.
We had noticed a
couple of guys drag a net along the beach and pull it in a few times.
One of the guys bought us up a big bucket of little fish, we accepted
a few in a bowl and ended up with about 1.5 kilo or 80 small fish!!!!
Into the fridge to deal with later.
We drove back to our
first nights camp and perched close by.Fried the fish up whole, we ate about 10 each leaving heads, tails and guts on plate.
I took the rest down to some other fisherman who seemed to appreciate them. Not sure if they used them for bait or took them home for dinner.
