Played some more with the sure_call; the mobile phone signal
amplifier that we bought back from Aus. John had purchased it before
our return. Not 100% sure if it is working or not. Signal comes and
goes with or without the amplifier.
Went into town about 16:00 but the batteries had not arrived and not sure when they would. So
decided to head south and try in the bigger town of Comodoro Rivadavia
We left for the
lighthouse 70km’s east with the sun low in the sky. A very flat drive
about 80m altitude and just low bush and very dry. A pretty pink,
dainty sunset tonight.
A great place for a
camp feels like the end of the world out here. Light house grp fl(2)
13sQuite a strong off shore wind blowing. There supposedly is a seal colony near by . We’ll try and find them tomorrow.
