John drove back across the slippery river about 8:30. We have a
lot of miles to do today.The highlight today was the 8km drive down The Bicaz Gorge in the Cheile Dicazului NP. 300m high cliffs soaring up above us.
We then turned onto a white road to drive through the Ceahlau NP. At the park entrance we were told in good English that the road is closed as it is in poor repair full of pot holes etc. He let us through but it was a very slow 20km. We stopped with a view onto the lake or lunch and john greased EC again. But most of the trip we were hemmed in by trees…
Out the other end with many a mile to go. We did not achieve our miles today. Lots of wee towns so down to 50km/hr for the town then about enough time to change up a gear then back to 50 limit. Not many people even slow down for the towns.
Stopped
to have a look inside this church. The inner doors were locked but
got to see if not actual to go in.
Finally got to the end of the population and continued along the
river till we found a nice little camp site.
