We left at 10am for a 2 hour drive to Fuso on the other (West) side of Istanbul. It took us nearly an hour to get onto the red road, the main road was blocked so had to take a detour through the villages.
Cost
106TL(AU$25) to cross the big bridge across the bay. the 4th longest suspension bridge in the world with the longest span. Arrived about 40mins
late after being stuck in traffic.
We
drove into the service center was invited to lunch in their canteen and they started
the service. Selman took us to the tax agent to get local tax file
number but first had to get johns passport translated. All
good then needed the notary to allow Fuso to collect tyres from port.
A lawyer came and explained the Turkish document before john signed.
Back to Fuso.
We had 1 hour to sort the vehicle and pack bags and book a room!!! Needless to say we were not to thorough. A taxi to the room without confirmation. A dinner in the old quarters.
