It
started to spit so we decided to leave and just as well as we did.
The clay track was quite slippery by the time we were half way out.
Thankfully the track was relatively smooth and very flat.
EC
did not always go in the direction that John wanted….
It rain quite hard but the drainage is not very good.
Back
on the road and off to Sheki where the architecture was different and
there are some old caravan compounds from the silk route days.
We
visited the summer palace and had an expensive OK lunch with homemade
undrunk wine. Oh well it is a tourist town.
There is a big building being built at the end but hopefully being the weekend and wet all morning there would be no traffic on a Sunday morning
