A slowish drive into Fuso with all the traffic and road works but got there on time. Parked
outside the gates among some big Kama3 trucks.
No
one in the service office had English.. They went and fetched one of the lady
engineers (Jane) who had some English. Paperwork done we went out to
EC and showed them the ins and outs.
I
had asked if they could direct us to a computer shop so I could buy a
new mains charger. Jane's boss, head of service, bundled we 3 into his
car and off we went. First place did not have it but second did. New
charger and battery.
Photo's first for the PR department
On
the way they took us to a very small church with a lookout over the
river. The church is famous as it is on the 10rub note. Then we went
to a restaurant for lunch.
At the workshop we sat for a short time with Jane then their were more questions.
Where else would the table legs be an engine block!!
They were concerned with the U bolt on the front right leaf springs so we said replace and also the injector spray showed problems with 3 injectors. They took us to the injector workshop so we could see they had the means to replace them. Another AU$700. But the mechanic said in 2000-5000km the engine may not start. Not a choice really.

The
vehicle would not be ready today. The hotel opposite was not
suitable - no table for computer work. Another quick pack then once
again Jane and her boss took us into town to the Ibis hotels where
they booked us a room. AU$100 so not so much.
Up
to the room and a long hot shower.
Clean
we returned to the restaurant and bought some nibbles and a bottle of
wine.
After
a bit of computer time we headed out for a walk down on the esplanade
beside the river. Some colorful fountains. A lovey temperature
until drizzle made us head back to the hotel.
