Almost perfect reflection
We had a very cheeky little visitor this morning.
Some young boys road up then went around the lake for a bit and, as young boys will, they stripped to their jocks and frolicked in the cold water.
Although we were supposed to leave early we again worked on clearing our drain pipes.
I
put some washing onto soak, then walked some of the way out.
As we
drove out 3 laden yaks and two riders with 3 horses came down. The yaks
shied and took to the hill and the young horse played up. The
mongols were unpleased but it was very steep…
Took
us 2 hours to make the first 20km then the track allowed us to go a
little faster.
About
5 hours drive to make 70km.
The whole riverbed was a big mining site. Quite amazing how much they had turned over.
We
passed through a small town then we made our own track 300m up a hill
to perch on an out crop of rocks looking down on the valley floor and
all the yurts and herds. The sheep and goats came up to us and the
yaks were about. The yaks grunt a little like a pigs grunt. And he
grunted all night…..
