Drove
past another accident, this, a single vehicle one.
We
are pushing to get miles behind us. We arrived at Vasilsursk but no campsite, the strange image on the satellite was the levy bank.
No camp at this end so drove the 15km to the other end. The first
half of the surface was sealed. There was also a “no entry” sign
a third of the way along but cars parked past it, so we continued.
Quite a few huts and camps on the river. They park their car on the levee bank then climb the wall with a purpose built style & ladder and walk
down the concrete “bank”.
Looking
over the wall we saw lots of great camps but with the sun setting
we’d be taking the first we came to. At the end we did a u-turn and
down to water level. Found a camp very quickly.
