Dawn found us still
at anchor where we would remain until 2000hrs.
We
were becoming concerned about our freezer defrosting so again asked
about going down to the vehicle. I had seen drivers on the top deck
yesterday. They said only big trucks but argued we too had a freezer
that needed running. John went down at the 1000hr lift unlocking and
ran the freezer and engine. He left the freezer running and returned
just before the lift was again locked.
I
went down when the lift was unlocked at 1600hrs. The batteries down
to 11.9v so just in time. Ran the engine then turned the fridge off
when leaving.
After a day of waiting we broke out a bottle and shared it with Atul.
When
the other vessel left port , the pilot transferred to us and saw us
safely in.
A very tight squeeze. The port is in the middle of town.
Half way in we turned around then reversed further in to tie up
stern to the unloading ramp. We then collected our passports and
cleared customs on the ship.
The
voyage from being in queue at Odessa 2300 on fri to 2300 hrs on
monday - 72hrs.
Said
bye and safe travels to both Atul and Andreus.
We were the second vehicle off. Not sure where to go but a guy had a quick look inside and waved us on. We found the bank for 3rd arty vehicle insurance but closed for the night. We were directed into town to another bank, which was open but not doing insurance. Come back at 1000hrs.

We
headed north to a camp on the shore side of the botanical gardens. A
late night.
