A lovely view this morning the clouds have lifted a
little. John noticed a shepherd and went to have a chat to him. John
was very surprised that the guy spoke a bit of English - enough. He had
about 200 sheep and 14 goats, but had to cut his chat short and chase
off after them.
South-eastwards as far as we could drive. A bit
disappointing as could not see much of the water, so back inland (west)
and south.
At Sarichioi township we stopped at the fishing "Wharf" and had some lunch. Their were a lot of nets laid out ready I guess for loading for netting the next morning.
On our way to the Near Enisala we visited cetatea Enisala fortress castle. It was closed but the security guy let us have a walk around. He struck a conversation and with his two opposing teeth told us lots of stories we did not understand. But the fort certainly had commanding views
Went out to Histria and its fortified town. Was all closed
and it was about 4pm so headed down a track to find a camp. This is all
flood planes but quite dry. We did however stick to the track. After
quite a bit of wondering found a spot at the southern end of lake
Nuntasi beside a fallen down gun emplacement.
