It drizzled for most of the night. Spent the morning on our computers trying to catch up with photo’s and
blog. John reinstalled the compressed air's pressure switch and it
worked, so that is good. I made some piklets for morning tea using
Cream of Tartar brought back from Australia. Much lighter than using
baking powder.
Our
plan is to travel along the Black Sea coast until we reach Georgia. We
stayed on the main road today to get some miles done.
A beautiful drive with all the new leaves on the trees.
We have seen some interesting and colorful mosques since leaving Istanbul
At
Sakarya River we stopped and walked back for a photo. A bit of
fishing industry here.
Stopped
in one small town and bought some beans, spinach, mushies and some
more strawberries.
Next a quick stop at a Carrefour supermarket for cheese. Bought a few other items and just thought I'd snap the loose leaf tea shelf. And in the last 3 or 4 countries we could not find loose tea. Here 500gm is a small packet.
We
exited for a camp down by the Black Sea. However it was a muddy track
and very slippery. I handed over to john who gave our tires a try out.
They got us through but can only assume they are better. There was
buildings at the bottom and some were a bit let go so moved on. The
way out was a better road and popped us out onto another brand
new
road.
Turned off again for another try on the beach. One spot was suitable but kept driving in a big circle and finally came back to the little grassy spot.
