2019-10-09 Day 377 Wed

We drove around the town as we had been told it was interesting. And yes lots of churches and big solid soviet buildings.
This town had several large paintings on buildings. I managed to snap these two.

How to make a derelict building look really great

An interesting paint job.
 A graveyard in among trees
Continued south. We have decided to stay in a hotel in Odessa and do so now-committed, we had 3 days to arrive.

We needed to do some maintenance and have a general cleanup before flying. And as it is my birthday soon we decided to be in the hotel for that. I booked a room at Bon Apart hotel south of the city centre at Arcadia. I also booked seats at a ballet on the 13th. 9 each!

South to the lake of Dnieper. It is nice to be back in Ukraine.
The soil is dark brown rather than black . I find it fascinating that they are still ploughing and sewing this close to winter.

At the roundabout in Vasylivka was this police station. I guess they have a good view of all the traffic.
This time our camp site was easy. Close to the railway line but out a spit into the lake. There were other tracks on the map but we stayed there.
