We
wondered down to the foreshore. A great boulder sitting on top of a
sand hill. Lots of holes in the rock with much sea weed and few fish
or other signs of life. Did spot one crab.
We headed off on white roads then onto a track.
Stopping among farmers paddocks we got out and walked the 10m to where the map said these statues were. True enough there they were two statues just lying where they had fallen. No info on them just among some trees and other stones. Most interesting and off the main tourist route.
Within 300m we stopped to look at an old church of Saint Marina at Pugos and a medieval Cistern again walking across a farmers paddock to see them.
Made our way on tracks back to the main road and continued East along the coast
A
snorkeler did swim past trailing 2 small fish on his float.
Back
to EC and headed towards the eastern most tip.
It
is interesting to see once again both church and mosque side by side
in small villages.
We
drove along the north coat then we headed inland to see some Bronze
age statues.

The sun was low but we wanted to make the point. At Dipkaraz we crossed to the southern coast and continues on yellow to the Sea bird motel/restaurant which looked closed. After this we were on dirt but a reasonable road. Maybe the point will not be as touristy as first thought.
We
camped 500m short of the point sitting as close as we dared to the
undermined cliff with animal bells reminding us we were not the only
ones here.
