We
left a bit earlier today as the sun sets at 16:35 so we have plenty of
time at that end of the day for computer stuff.
Most
of these roads in the hills are sealed and fairly windy and narrow.
Lots of terraced hills either growing fruit trees olives or bush vines.
We
found some dirt tracks to drive on.
There
was a walk up to a Caledonia water fall just 1.4 km but we walked
from the bottom. It was really beautiful at the waterfall.
John
continued on up and I returned to EC and drove it up the hill to meet
John just as he was arriving at the main road.

We
headed on up to Troodos and the snow.
This
was the first place I had snow skied. Kathryn and I went up with Lee
Jeremy Darios and Greg. We
hired skies and just walked up the hill and skied down. None of us
new how to turn.
A
beautiful clear day to be up on the top of Cyprus.
We
continued on along the mountains to Kykkos monastery.
The
road to the tomb was close with a boom gate.
We
went back down the road a little and drive up a dead end track.
Camped
a third of the way back down where it was a little flat. John dug in
the back wheels.
I
did the washing and John hung it outside. Just as well we did not
make it to the tomb the whole top of the ridge was lit up. Also the monastery was lit up.95km Camp site 1223m alt.
