I put
our sheets on to wash then John hung them up. In this wind and sun
they should be dry in short order. After cooking Banitsa and then Moussaka which was made with pork mince. A carrot and onion were
cooked up then the pork mince capsicum powder black pepper then some
potatoes chopped small were added in with water to cook them. Next it
was put in over to finish cooking then the topping of 500g yogurt
with 3 eggs beaten together. Put back in to cook.
We
ate some of the Banitsa which I think I prefer hot. It was as good as the
last one we had half way up a hill in the snow!!
This is a special place to wash carpets. the water comes down the shoot at high speed into a cone shaped tub about 4m deep. the force of the water helps clean them they are then remove and have soap scrubbed into them then well rinsed again in the water.
After
the moussaka was cooked we had a small bit for lunch, Elena and we
went for a drive to find somewhere out of the wind for a walk.
I
took the washing in and laid on bed very nearly dry. Another load was
in the machine.
We
walked up a hill close by. Near the river we saw some big frogs I
guess spring has sprung!
We
sat on a seat that had words to the effect of “ while you rest here think of what you are grateful for”. We chatted for a while then walked back to the car.
Elena
then drove us to lake Pancharevo. Here we had another walk. Across
the other side was a big series of seats to watch the rowing races
from - all in a sorry state. But a nice place to sit and enjoy the
sunshine and view. John

Back
at the house we had moussaka and salad for dinner and chatted. John
talked more about qwikgame and they showed some interest.
We
again tried to use the website to buy a toll road but this time could
only select from a border crossing.!!
